Recently, India and Qatar reviewed the progress of their bilateral partnership during a meeting between India’s External Affairs Minister and the Prime Minister of Qatar, with discussions focusing on strengthening cooperation across key sectors.
About Qatar
- Qatar, with Doha as its capital, is situated on the Qatar Peninsula along the western coast of the Persian Gulf, in the northeastern part of the Arabian Peninsula.
- It shares its only land border with Saudi Arabia to the south and is otherwise surrounded by the Persian Gulf.
