Chairman Sir:

Sir, asked me to remove the mask and put it on the table if I have no COVID symptoms and take the seat. He was very cordial, and told me, “Please make yourself comfortable. If you are not able to understand any question, please ask us again. If you don’t know anything, please be honest.”

Q1. What did you have in lunch?

Q2. Is lying a crime? (I replied that it is contextual.)

Q3. Is lying a sin? (I said yes.)

Q4. Ohhh! Lying is a sin but not a crime, interesting! PM Modi has announced doubling of farmers’ income? What has been the agricultural growth rate of India in past few years? (I’m not sure Sir)

Q5. Please take a guess.

Q6. How can we increase farmers’ income?

Member 1 (Male):

Q1. Israel Palestine are always in conflict? What is the reason? How did it all begin? What has been India’s Foreign Policy towards it? (All these questions were asked in a single go. I answered them one by one)

Q2. What is your view regarding India’s stand?

Q3. Recently, there was a protest in Israel. What was it about?

Member 2 (Male):

Q1. India imports almost all of the fertilizers it uses, which creates a huge burden on our FOREX reserves. Why is it so that we need to import? (I talked about urea as a by-product of petroleum)

Q2. Okay, and what about the other fertilizers apart from Urea? (I said I’m not sure.)

Q3. See, It’s the raw materials that is the reason. Now tell me, how can we reduce our import burden due to fertilizers?

Q4. India is about to become the most populous country, how do you see and can we make use of it?

Member 3 (Female):

Q1. If you get into the Police Services, what would you do to create a better relationship between the people and the Police? (I began by saying that there exists a trust deficit between both which we need to bridge. To which she interrupted)

Q2. That is what I’m saying. There is a trust deficit. How will you address that? (I replied with some measures)

Q3. But will you do your office responsibilities or do all this! (I replied building trust would also be my responsibility.)

Q4. What is Warner Agreement? (I replied I don’t know)

Q5. Are you not following the Russia-Ukraine war? (I replied, “Yes I am)

Q6. So, don’t you know about the Donbas region? (I replied, “Yes I do”)

Q7. So, don’t you know about the Warner agreement? (I replied, “No, I don’t”. She gave a weird look)

Member 4:

Q1. The state allocates a significant portion of budget for education. What do you think should be the focus of the government? Investing in public education or private education?

Q2. What is your view on Uniform Civil Code? Should it be implemented now?

Chairman Sir again:
