• It is a ship built specifically for pollution control by the Indian Coast Guard (ICGS).
• It is Southeast Asia's first pollution control vessel of its kind.
• Features:

• It has the most advanced pollution response and control equipment for containing oil spills in the Exclusive Economic Zone.
• For storing oil spills, it has tanks and inflatable barges.
• With a storage capacity of 500 KL, the ship may conduct unhindered oil recovery operations.
• A twin-engine Advanced Light Helicopter may be flown off and on board the vessel, along with a Chetak helicopter.
• An integrated platform management system, power management system, high power external firefighting system, and one native gun mount with firefighting system are among the special features.
• The spacecraft has the ability to operate its machinery without a crew.
