PM-YUVA 3.0 – Mentorship Scheme for Young Authors

The Ministry of Education has launched PM-YUVA 3.0 (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors) under the vision of promoting literary culture.

 

Key Features:
 

  1. Objective:
    1. To mentor young authors (below 30 years) and foster reading, writing, and book culture.
    2. Promote Indian writings globally and strengthen Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat through cultural exchange.
  2. Implementing Agency: National Book Trust (NBT).
  3. Selection Process:
    1. 50 authors to be selected via an All-India Contest.
  4. Themes for Contest Entries:
    1. Contribution of Indian Diaspora in Nation Building
    2. Indian Knowledge System
    3. Makers of Modern India (1950–2025)
  5. Selected books will be published by NBT and translated into Indian languages.
