About Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN):

1. Operational Arm: The CTCN serves as the operational arm of the UNFCCC's Climate Change Technology Mechanism.
2. Hosting and Support: It is hosted by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and supported by 11 independent organizations with expertise in climate technologies.
3. Establishment Purpose: Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) was established at the request of developing countries to promote the rapid transfer of environmentally sound technologies for low-carbon and climate-resilient development.
